In this sample dataset to illustrate and test the Plinian Core capabilities. It comprises three species records and make use of an array of IPT extensions based on Plinian Core standard v3.2.1. (https://github.com/PlinianCore). The three species included are: (1) Caulerpa taxifolia (M. Vahl) C. Agardh, 1817 - [Algae, in English] (2) Canis lupus Linnaeus, 1758 - [Mamnalia, in Spanish] (3) Boa constrictor (Linnaeus,1758) - [Reptilia, in English] Extensions included in this dataset are; : Taxon Core, Plinian Simple Core, Vernacular Names, Plinian Synonyms, dwc:ResourceRelationship, Plinian Distribution, Plinian Endemicity, Plinian ThreatStatus, Plinian Legislation, Plinian Uses, Plinian ManagementAndConservation, dwc:MeasurementOrFacts, EOL References and EOL Media Extension.

Data Records

The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 3 records. 13 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
