Description

Fish samples were collected with the help of local fishermen using gill nets and cast nets of various mesh sizes. Additionally, fish samples were also procured from local fish markets at Bhigwan and Indapur. Higher taxonomy of the species names were obtained using the ‘name_backbone_checklist’ from the ‘rgbif’ package in R.
