Description

La Colección de Herpetología del Museo Nacional de Historia Natural de Uruguay (MNHN) incluye especímenes conservados en líquido, naturalizados, esqueletos y pieles, recolectados principalmente en Uruguay y países vecinos. Esta colección, a cargo del profesor de Sistemática Animal, Luis Suarez, representa una valiosa referencia para la investigación sobre biodiversidad en la región. La publicación de estos datos en el Sistema de Información sobre Biodiversidad de Uruguay (SIB Uruguay) permitirá ampliar su visibilidad y facilitar su uso en investigaciones científicas, así como en la toma de decisiones a nivel regional y nacional.
