The dataset consists of freshwater snails species occurrences from observational studies carried out at different locations in and around Pune district, India.

Sampling Methods

Qualitative sampling of the snails was carried out by visual searching and hand picking (a) from the bank and (b) from the littoral region of the habitat (a hand net with a mesh size of 150 μm was used to collect specimens from the littoral region).
