収集方法

Questing ticks were collected from farm and woodland using blanket dragging. Semi-engorged ticks were collected from culled deer and sheep submitted for postmortem examination.

Method step description:

1. Method steps 1. Researchers from UCD and DAFM defined the appropriate sampling protocol for the target species. 2. The main aim of the field work was to collect ticks for PCR screening for the presence of flavivirus RNA. 3. The collected data was entered into an EFSA database. 4. The data was exported and manually corrected by experts. 5. Data was sent to VectorNet and validated. 6. The dataset is published and registered with GBIF. Quality control Data are collected using a predefined sampling protocol and checked by professionals.
