This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Métodos de Amostragem
"TICK SAMPLING: During spring season, from March to May and during autumn season from October to November, ticks were collected using flagging method. Ticks were flagged if weather conditions were suitable. A 1×1 m flag of cotton cloth was flagged over the low vegetation along a standardised 100 m trails at previously specified locations across all eight regions of Slovakia. The flagging was usually done by one person sampling for 15 min. All collected ticks from particular trail were stored in a polypropylene tube without any storing medium. Ticks were identified under a SLX-3 stereomicroscope (Optica, Italy) using identification keys according to Slovak (2010), Estrada-Peña et al. (2018). MOSQUITO SAMPLING: BG Sentinel 2 + CO2 traps were used to collect mosquito species on 16 different sites. "
Área de Estudo | "TICKS: During 2024, ticks were collected from vegetation across Slovakia during spring and eutumn tick season MOSQUITOES:During 2024, mosquito species were continuosly trapped from June to mid-October in Slovakia, capture nets were changed twice a week. " |

Descrição dos passos do método:
- "TICKS: Method steps 1. Researchers from UVMP in Kosice defined the appropriate sampling protocol for the target species. 2. Fieldwork was planned and coordinated by UVMP in Kosice. 3. Data was collected in the field by researcher from UVMP in Kosice. 4. The collected data was entered into an Access database. 5. The data was exported and manually corrected by experts. 6. The collected data was entered into an EFSA database. 7. Data was sent to Vectornet and validated. 8. The dataset is published and registered with GBIF. Quality control: Data are collected using a predefined sampling protocol and checked by professionals. MOSQUITOES Method steps 1.
