Latest version published by GBIF Secretariat on 25 July 2022 GBIF Secretariat
This dataset is the checklist of higher fungi (macromycetes / Mushrooms) and lichenized fungi (Lichens) of the Far Eastern Himalayas (HI-LIFE) and the surroundings. Systematic searches were carried out searching both peer-reviewed and grey literature from bibliographical databases, organizational websites and internet search engines in English, Chinese, Hindi and Burmese. It also includes the information about their bibliographic citations and links of their publications to dig deep on the species. Provided dataset will serve as the foundation of mycological knowledge of HI-LIFE landscape highlighting their availability and prospects at different localities with every ancillary detail.

Data Records

The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,937 records.

1 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.

  • Taxon (core)
    1937
  • Occurrence
    3802

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
