Geographic Coverage

Cette étude a été menée dans la chaine montagneuse de Chilla de la RNP le long de la rive orientale de la rivière Ganges. La chaine se caractérise par des collines escarpées allant de 400 m à 1000 m d'altitude avec des pentes abruptes au sud et est drainée par des rivières et des ruisseaux du nord au sud, dont la plupart restent à sec à la fin de l'hiver et l'été. Globalement, les forêts de cette région peuvent être classés comme des forêts humides et mixtes du Nord de l’Inde et des forêts mixtes tropicales et sec

Taxonomic Coverage

Le tigre du Bengale est une espèce en voie de disparition (Panthera tigris tigris (Linnaeus, 1758)). Il utilise de grandes aires de répartition pour avoir accès à une quantité de proies adéquate.
