2019-01-15 eng During the monitoring of communities of microfungi on plant litter of a raised bog during the summer 2014, several presumably new and some interesting species were found. The specimens were stored in the Fungarium YSU. One of species (Rhizoscyphus ericae) was identified based on morphological characters and represented one of few reports of this species as a teleomorph, and the first report (from DNA or as a teleomorph) from Sphagnum, although it is typically associated with Sphagnum/bog habitats. The second species was identified based on morphological characters as a new species of Fuscolachnum sp. The ITS nrDNA sequences of all three specimens were received in the Botanical Institution of Komarov, LE (by Eugene Popov). This project is aimed to identify the species through UNITE (PlutoF) and to publish the final dataset of two species in GBIF as a training during the seminar on "Identifying and publishing HTS/Sanger DNA sequence datasets", Copenhagen, Denmark on 14-15 January 2019 (https://sisu.ut.ee/publish-sequence-datasets/avaleht). Specimens were microscopied (Zeiss Axiostar microscope with mounted digital camera), microstructures were described and pictured. General methods of collection, specimen preservation and description of Discomycetes were used in the project [Dennis, 1968; Hansen, 2000; Lodge et al., 2004]. Litter and alive parts of plants were inspected with unaided eye and under the lens. Discovered species were photographed in vital state and gross morphology was described, and then preserved in the Fungarium of Yugra State University (https://fungariumysu.org). The ITS nrDNA sequences of all three specimens were received in the Botanical Institution of Komarov, LE (by Eugene Popov). Discomycetes from plant, leave and sphagnum litter in ombrotrophic bog (West Siberia) Nina Filippova originator Collection of Discomycetes from two ombrotrophic bogs near Khanty-Mansiysk (boreal zone of West Siberia) was made by direct observation method. Litter and alive parts of plants were inspected with unaided eye and under the lens. Discovered species were photographed in vital state and gross morphology was described, and then preserved in the Fungarium of Yugra State University (https://fungariumysu.org/).
