                        <para>Sampling area – selected sampling places in different parts of the country. Country-wide areas with suitable habitat for mosquitoes. Areas with suitable habitat for vectors: to be preferred areas where adult female mosquitoes lay eggs on the surface of fresh or stagnant water. Areas on the outskirts of cities and population centres, bordering forests and wetlands. Ticks are collected during the vector active period (usually March-September). Sampling frequency – samples will be collected during the vector active period weekly of every second week. </para>

                    <para>To be conducted with host-seeking/gravid traps. Sampling will be focused on Culex pipiens, Culex modestus, Culex perexiguus, Culex torrentium, Culex univittatus etc. Ticks are collected using flagging method.   </para>
