                <abstract>
                            <para>This collection includes fossil brain endocasts of Cenozoic mammals of Argentina (marsupials, edentates, litopterns, notoungulates, rodents and carnivores) principally from Patagonia. This material, the subject of paleoneurological studies, is directly related to the project: “Paleoneurolgy of South American Cenozoic Mammals”.

Also it includes recent brain endocasts of Neotropical mammals and other vertebrates and the Collection of Juan Carlos Quiroga, who was the pioneer of the Paleoneurology in Argentina. His collection includes the most important collection of fossil brain endocasts of Mesozoic mammal-like reptiles of South America.</para>
